Jophy Lin was born in New York in 2008 and soon moved to New Jersey. She is currently 16 years old and a junior enrolled in the Science & Engineering Magnet Program at Manalapan High School, where she is pursuing a rigorous curriculum with a strong focus on science and engineering. Jophy has a passion for conducting research in the fields of computer science, particularly in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and bioinformatics. She balances her time between academics, research projects, and her role as a computer science instructor and has completed numerous internships that have broadened and developed her skills. Beyond academics, Jophy enjoys learning new skills, especially in technology and art, reading, and values quality time with friends and family. She is dedicated to making a positive impact through her work.
